An early detection system for failure and remaining life of coatings for marine applications.

The primary objective of this project is to develop and validate a method for early detection of failure and remaining life of organic coatings used to protect any structure located in a marine environment. This objective is based on deepening the knowledge of the degradation mechanisms of organic coatings in marine conditions.

The CTC has received a grant co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Cantabria Operational Programme FEDER 2014-2020 within the INNOVA 2018 line of subsidies.
