CONDICIONTS OF USE

1.General information:

These conditions of use (the “Conditions of Use”) regulate access to and use of the website located under the domain name www.ctcomponentes.com (the “Website”) and under any of the subdomains or websites depending on the same, together with the contents and services that the holder of the Website makes available to its users (the “Users”), and establish together with the Privacy and Cookie Policies relating to the management of the personal data of the Users the terms and conditions by which the Website is governed (the “Terms and Conditions”).

In compliance with that set down in Article 10 of Law 34/2002 of 11th July on Services of the Information Society and E-Commerce, the following identification details of the holder of the Website are stated:

FUNDACION CENTRO TECNOLOGICO DE COMPONENTES, a company with its business address in Santander at Calle Isabel Torres nº 1, (Post Code 39011), Cantabria, Spain, and with TAz Identity Number G-39492947, inscribed on the Register of Foundations of the Regional Government of Cantabria in the category “Others” and with code O, I, 2; with telephone number 942 766976 and e-mail address info@centrotecnologicoctc.com (the “CTC”).

Access to the Website or its use by the User involves of necessity and unreservedly knowledge and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. We therefore recommend that the User should read them carefully every time he or she wishes to access the Website.

In order to be able to use the Services offered on the Website a necessary condition is that the Users must be of age, which means that on accepting the following Terms and Conditions the User declares that he or she is of age and has the necessary capacity to access the Services offered on the Website.

In relation to the above, the User will in any case be responsible for the veracity and accuracy of the details provided to the CTC by means of the registration form.

2. Use of the Website

The User recognises and accepts that he or she uses the Website at all times entirely at his or her own risk and responsibility, owing to which the CTC accepts no responsibility for any misuse, improper use, or use contrary to these Conditions that may be made of the same.

In consequence the Users will be fully responsible for the correct use of the Website subject to current legislation whether Spanish or international and also to the principles of good faith, morality, decency, and public order and with the commitment of observing diligently any additional instruction that may be given them by the CTC.

Users will abstain from using the services and contents of this Website for illicit or fraudulent purposes or those harming the rights and interests of third parties, or which may damage, render useless, or affect the operation of the Website or its contents or its services in any way. Likewise it is forbidden to prevent other Users from the normal use or enjoyment of the Website. The User will be responsible for any damages that may be caused to the CTC as a consequence of misuse of the Website or its use without complying with the Terms and Conditions.

The CTC cannot provide an absolute guarantee to the effect that the services, features, and functions of its Website are available at any time and any location, or that the software and hardware used are completely free of errors. In the same way the CTC cannot guarantee the transmitting of data by third parties to be free of faults, in particular transmission by means of telecommunication networks or Internet suppliers. In consequence the CTC accepts no responsibility for damages of any kind that may derive from the foregoing.

In particular the CTC accepts no responsibility for any potential damage or errors which may be suffered by the computer system (hardware or software) of the Users when the latter access the Website or use it owing to the presence of any virus.

In any case the CTC will only answer for those damages that the User may suffer as a consequence of deceitful conduct or manifest negligence on our part in relation to access to our Website, the providing of our services, or the use of our contents, tools, and functions.

Nevertheless the CTC will make all reasonable measures available to the User to ensure that the contents and services included in the Website are accurate and updated.

If it considers this to be fitting the CTC may suspend immediately the providing of the service and if appropriate remove the contents it considers to be incorrect or illegal, whether it does so at its discretion or at the request of an affected third party or competent authority, without said suspension giving rise to any compensation. 

3. Responsibility for the contents and links to third parties:

The CTC accepts no responsibility deriving from the links which by means of the Website allow the User access to facilities and services offered by third parties, provided that they are foreign to the Website. Therefore the CTC accepts no responsibility either for the information contained in the same or for any effects that may derive from said information. Likewise the CTC reserves the right to remove unilaterally and without prior warning the links which appear on the Website.

If any User or third party should observe that such links may contravene the law, morality, or public order, he or she should inform the CTC by writing to the electronic mail address info@centrotecnologicoctc.com.

The CTC reserves the right to make changes on the Website without prior warning with the aim of maintaining its information updated, by adding, modifying, correcting, or eliminating the contents published or the design of the Website.

The CTC will not be responsible for the use made by third parties of the information published on the Website or for any damages or economic losses suffered which directly or indirectly generate or may generate economic or material damage or damage to data caused by the use of said information. 

4. Intellectual and industrial property:

The CTC is the holder or licensee of all the intellectual and industrial property rights included on the Website and also of the contents accessible by means of the same.

The CTC authorises the Users of the Website to use, visualise, print, or download the contents of the Website solely and exclusively for their private use. Any notification and/or distribution of said contents for commercial or lucrative purposes and their modification, alteration, or descompiling is therefore strictly forbidden. For any use other than those expressly permitted it will be necessary to obtain in advance the express authorisation of the holder of the rights in question without under any circumstances failure to reply being considered to be alleged authorisation.

Authorisation given to the User for access to the Website does not involve the renunciation, tramission, licensing, or total or partial transfer of the intellectual or industrial property rights by the CTC, which means that their use in a manner other than that established in the Terms and Conditions is strictly forbidden.

The intellectual and industrial property rights of the Website, together with the texts, images, graphic design, browsing structure, information, and contents included in the same are either owned by the CTC or the latter holds the necessary exploitation rights to the same in any form and in particular the rights of reproduction, distribution, public communication, and transformation, in accordance with Spanish legislation on intellectual and industrial property rights.

5. Right of admission and suspension of the service

The CTC reserves the right of admission to and exclusion from the Website. Any User who fails to comply with the Terms and Conditions or with the Privacy Policy of the CTC may be barred from the Website.

Likewise the CTC may withdraw or suspend at any moment without the need for any prior warning the providing of the Services to those Users who fail to comply with that established in the Terms and Conditions.

6. Modifications to the conditions of use:

The CTC reserves the right to modify these Conditions of Use in accordance with the applicable legislation, of which it must duly inform on its Website, owing to which we recommend that the User should check them periodically so as to be informed of how we are protecting your information.

These Terms and Conditions will be governed and interpreted in accordance with Spanish law.

7. Law applicable

COOKIES POLICY

The website may use cookies (small files of information that the server sends to the computer of whoever accesses the website) in order to carry out certain functions that are considered essential for the satisfactory operation and visualisation of the website. The cookies used on the website are in any case temporary and do not involve treatment of personal data; their only purpose is to make the subsequent transmission of the latter more efficient, and they may be maintained with the objective of getting to know the preferences of the user and sending him or her information referring to contents of his or her interest.

This website may use three types of cookies:

  • Session cookies: Those used to store data of the user accessing a website (operating system, browser type, language) so as to facilitate browsing.
  • Technical cookies: Those which allow the use of security elements during the browsing, the control of traffic, and the notification of data, the identification of the session, and access to parts of restricted access, among other functions.

IP addresses: The servers of the website can detect automatically the IP address and the domain name used by the user. An IP address is a number allocated automatically to a computer when the latter is connected to Internet. All this information is recorded on an activity file which allows the subsequent processing of data with the aim of obtaining solely statistical measurements that provide knowledge of the number of pages printed, the number of visits made to the web services, the order of visits, the access point, etc.

All the cookies used by the FUNDACION CENTRO TECNOLOGICO DE COMPONENTES (CTC) are their own; under no circumstances are third party cookies used.
