Test bench for the model of the closure head of a fourth-generation nuclear reactor.

This project of the CTC consists of the design and analysis of a test bench of a submerged model subjected to cyclic loading and subsequent assembly and disassembly. The tests are intended to demonstrate the structural integrity and functional capacity of the cover of a future transmutation reactor. The test bench allows sort the cyclic loads remotely. The structure allows comfortably the assembly, disassembly, insertion and removal of parts whose deformation and functional capacity we want to check. Enabled systems in the test bench allow condition the liquid medium in which is immersed the model to meet environmental test conditions specified by the promoter. Optimization of the occupied space size is such that the bench is transportable without the need of removing components. Bench shape allows users to check the progress of the actuators during the test by visual inspection. The design performed includes performance specifications, manufacturing specifications and manufacturing drawings of the bench.
