Robotic systems
In many cases the creation of high-added value services and the improvement of industrial processes require the development of robots and/or smart systems capable of operating in changing environments and at a higher level of autonomy. These systems tend to integrate mechanical and electronic systems such as algorithms and specific software.
At the CTC we specialise in the development of automatic smart systems that provide innovative solutions allowing the exploitation of new high-quality services.
Stabilised platforms
Description: The CTC has considerable experience in the development of made-to-measure stabilised platforms for satellite communication systems installed in land vehicles. This type of positioners is based on Inertially Stabilised Robotic Platforms (ISRPs) for the precise directing of antennae which can operate in either open or closed loops. The CTC has developed systems on multiple communication bands (X, Ka, Ku…) with up to 4 degrees of freedom for all kinds of vehicles and performance (land military vehicles, high-speed trains, and frigates and transportable systems of the man-pack type).
Applications: Gyro stabilisation of platforms for cameras, antennae, armament, sensors, lasers, video surveillance, geo-referentiation of communication antennae (SATCOM on the move systems), cameras, radar, cartography, autonomous robotics
Sector: Aerospace, Telecommunications, Military Defence, Transport
Control systems
Description: At the CTC we specialise in the development of real-time control systems for applications with demanding time restrictions. The CTC has experience of the different stages: the designing of hardware architecture (the selection of sensorics and electromechanical drive), integration, the development of control algorithms (such as Neuronal Networks, Adaptive Control, or Fuzzy Logic), and the implementation of software.
Applications: Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, Process Control
Sector: Aeronautics, Car industry
