The Employers’ Association of the Components Technological Centre is made up of a series of companies and research centres which are committed to the objective of establishing a culture of innovation in the business fabric. These entities believe in innovation and in their capacity to structure companies in the long term.
The representation, administration, and governance of the CTC is handled by the Employers’ Association, the President of which is David González Pescador, and its Executive Committee which is presided over by Roberto González Portilla.
In the same manner, in the search for excellence in the processes of technological transfer CTC makes available to the companies the entire capacity of the network of technological centres of Spain and Europe by means of consolidated bilateral relations. A complete network of allies is capable of meeting any need that may arise for the companies. The sum of capacities will allow the Technological Centre to tackle more complex and more ambitious projects.
The Components Technological Centre is likewise a member of four industrial clusters in Cantabria: that of the car industry (GIRA), the maritime industry (MARCA), that of Renewable Marine Energy (SIIC), and that of nuclear energy (CINC) which constitutes a pioneering initiative in the sector at a national level. In these industrial groupings the participation of the CTC is proactive as it invigorates and promotes actions related to R+D+I. At the CTC we consider that clusters understood as innovative ecosystems are an essential agent in the progress of companies, creating a critical body, sharing knowledge, and making decision-making more flexible.
